Meet Joe Gansevles
Joe Gansevles is a Coordinator with over 25 years’ experience in the Social Services Sector. Joe has worked for Hutton House for the last thirteen years with prior experience including: Social Services Program Manager, Deaf Blind Intervenor, Educational Assistant, Job Coach.
During Joe’s career he has specialized in meeting the needs of participants through innovative solutions to increase employ-ability through several means including: Youth training initiatives, specialized employment using “job carving” theory, utilizing opportunities in agriculture and manufacturing to provide individuals with a “base” of transferrable employment skills.
Participating as a board member for a Land Care Association that supports and promotes individuals with disabilities and barriers the opportunity to appreciate rural life. Joe Gansevles is an awarded member of the Social Services community as a recipient of a Community Vitality Grant and Intervenor of the Year Award.
During Joe’s career in Supported Employment, Joe has assisted in securing over 300 jobs for individuals with disabilities and barriers in both rural and large communities within Ontario.
